Puzzle Floor

The floors of most of the apartment and dorms I have lived in have been equally as boring as the walls. Unfortunately we have to live with the bland design by covering up our walls with pictures. I enjoy this concept of puzzle piece flooring because it opens up an new way of looking at your floor… basically because it makes you look at your floor. I imagine this could take off in many directions. For example I love the gallery images of different colored puzzle pieces next to each other. I am sure someone will come up with the idea of printing imagery on these floor pieces. So lets say you have an abstract design that you can make even more abstract by rearranging the floor pieces.

The next step for puzzle floor would be something similar to the Michael Jackson video for “Billie Jean” where the floor pieces light up as your walking through the room.
